The Question:
I have full custody and the father has threatened to call the cops if he doesn’t
get his son? I have sole custody of my son and the father has over night visitations twice a
month. He usually gets him as always, but I have recently told him do to the
corona-virus I want to keep him home from exposure.
RJ Says:
“Sole legal decision-making” means one parent has the legal right and
responsibility to make major decisions for a child. However, our statute
specifically states that an order for sole legal decision-making does not allow
that parent to unilaterally alter a court-ordered parenting time plan.
